The CED Drum Filler design incorporates optimum sealing and dust control whether you are using lined drums or unlined drums.

The CED Drum Filler adjust easily to any size drum. No costly, time-consuming delays required in changing drum size, and drum size can be minimized by utilizing the patented densifier option.

CED Fillers shown are one-drum-at-a-time fillers for lined or unlined drums. CED offers Multiple-Drum Fillers as well as combination FIBC, Gaylord, Metal Bin, or Drum Fillers. Special fillers for dusty, hazardous, or toxic materials are also available.

The Automatic Drum Filler features a standard drum cover device operated by two pneumatic cylinders. The cover device automatically extends to seal off the drum during the filling cycle and retracts automatically at the end of the filling cycle. The operator is free for post-fill operations such as tie-off and closing.

The Semi-Automatic Drum Filler utilizes a collar that expands to the liner diameter to effect a positive, dust-tight seal. An optional accompanying device evacuates air and collapses liner for tie-off. This system has proven to be extremely effective in the packaging of hygroscopic or extremely dusty materials. This system also enhances requiring a nitrogen blanket before and during fill.

All systems are available with either automatic or semi-automatic drum staging or accumulating conveyors. Integration of drum palletizers, and/or stretch wrap equipment is routine.
