The CED (RGV) utilizes equal opposing forces (rotary actuator) to achieve precise positioning for weight repeatability. Valves that use linear actuators are adversely affected by inertia and unequal pressures, causing erratic positioning of the valve gate, producing inconsistent weighments.

Providing unobstructed flow, the CED (RGV) is easily adjusted for precise (dribble) control of product column. When combined with one of our FIBC, Box/Bin, or Drum Fill units the accuracy is achieved by an automatic jog (top-off) feature, eliminating any underweighments.

The (RGV) is available in 6", 8", 10", or 12" sizes, and is constructed of 304 stainless steel. Other available materials of construction include 316 stainless steel, aluminum, hastalloy, monel, inconel, and a variety of special surface coatings. The CED (RGV) provides clean-in-place and repair-in-place capabilities. An optional clean-in-place (CIP) system is also available with air or water wash nozzles.
